IntelligentApps version 5.0 includes improvements and enhancements delivering on the commitment to use new Microsoft SQL Server 2005 functionality, whilst at the same time delivering non SQL 2005 enhancements for those customers not migrating to the new platform.

SQL Server 2005 moves the scalability, capability and size of Business Performance Management (BPM) applications to a new level. In recognition of this IntelligentApps have made changes to the new 5.0 product set, which fully exploit these enhancements. This includes advanced support of the Unified Dimensional Model (UDM) in SQL Server 2005. By taking advantage of the relationships between user-defined hierarchies, attribute hierarchies, dimensions and measures, release 5.0 builds on the IntelligentApps enterprise platform and provides a much richer end user experience for both multidimensional and relational information.

Version 5.0 offers a consolidated SQL 2000 solution with connectivity to SQL 2005 and provides:

· Extended support for inserted columns and rows
· Improved style and layout support
· Improved connection management
